Lothar Wetlitzky is a Certified Building and Architectural Lawyer. He is mainly active in the areas of private construction law, public procurement law and real estate law, as well as in corporate law.
In private construction law, Lothar primarily advises domestic and foreign architectural and engineering firms on all issues arising in connection with major planning and construction projects. His spectrum of activities ranges from advice on bidding for contracts to legal support in the negotiation and conclusion of architects’ and engineers’ contracts to the enforcement of fee claims and defense against liability claims.
Another focus of his construction law work is public procurement law. Mr. Wetlitzky advises public clients on the design of public tenders for planning and construction contracts. He advises both contracting authorities and applicants within the framework of public procurement procedures, representing them in review and appeal proceedings.
Lothar advises and represents private and commercial clients and contractors in the execution of construction projects, particularly in the enforcement of or defense against claims for compensation and defects.
In the area of real estate law, Mr. Wetlitzky advises on the structuring and execution of project developments and other real estate transactions. The subject matter of his work includes legal issues such as the structuring and establishment of project or property companies, the drafting and negotiation of share or real property purchase agreements and the drafting and negotiation of other contracts required when realizing a development.
Finally, Lothar Wetlitzky specializes in the field of partnership law and limited liability company law. He drafts articles of association and shareholder resolutions and advises on restructurings, share sales and acquisitions as well as on questions of internal company constitution.
