Dr. Katja von Sydow is a certified labor lawyer. She acts for employers and employees in the field of labor law and advises board members, managing directors and executives.

Dr. von Sydow has many years of experience in providing ongoing advice to companies in all areas of individual and collective labor law. She focuses on developing practical individualized solutions. A key aspect of her practice is advising employers and supporting corporate restructuring. In this area she is often tasked with the preparation of operational changes, particularly transfers of undertakings, as well as with the drafting and negotiation of social compensation plans and reconciliation of interests through to representation in proceedings for protection against unfair dismissal. Her daily practice also focuses on the drafting and negotiation of employment and service contracts as well as rescission agreements.

Dr. Katja von Sydow represents and advises management board members, managing directors, supervisory board members and executives in connection with the establishment, performance and termination of their employment relationships and in liability proceedings. She advises on all aspects of employment relationships, particularly on the contractual situation (managing director agreements, management board member agreements, etc.), on liability issues and conducts or assists in negotiations to terminate employment relationships.

Dr. Katja von Sydow has trained as a systemic coach and uses this additional qualification in her consulting work.
