Dr. Matthias Helm

Lawyer

Dr. Matthias Helm advises and represents domestic and foreign clients in the areas of real estate law, project-specific building and architectural law and real-estate-specific banking and corporate law.

One focus of his work is the conceptual and contractual structuring and execution of large-scale real estate projects. In this area, Dr. Helm can draw on extensive experience in numerous large-scale real estate projects in the Federal Republic of Germany that he and his team have advised on. His advice ranges from the purchase of properties and structuring of the financing for the project developer to the complete preparation and negotiation of complex project contracts (architects’ contracts, planners’ contracts, project management contracts and contracts for work and services) and finally the sale of projects in the form of asset or share deals. Dr. Helm’s clients include numerous well-known real estate project developers, major real estate financing banks, medium-sized companies and industrial companies.

In real estate law, Matthias focuses on advising and representing clients in complex real estate transactions and on real estate-specific financing advice. Dr. Matthias Helm advises banks in particular on real estate-specific project controlling, which is carried out by banks in preparation for financing agreements.
