Christopher Patt, LL.M.EUR.

Lawyer | Partner

Christopher Patt advises domestic and foreign clients with a focus on real estate law, commercial tenancy law and public procurement law.

His real estate business activities include supporting real estate transactions and advising on portfolio management. In addition to property owners, clients in this area primarily include asset and property managers, facility managers and real estate departments of large companies, institutional investors and fund managers. In addition to carrying out due diligence reviews for sellers and buyers, Mr. Patt is particularly concerned with optimizing the letting and marketability of purchased properties, for example, through improvements with respect to ancillary costs or through targeted management of riders to lease agreements. His consulting services also comprise the revitalization of old industrial properties and redevelopment properties by converting and restructuring them into small-scale lettings or interim commercial lettings. In this context, Christopher is involved in the “Space Recycling” working group of the Gesellschaft für immobilienwirtschaftliche Forschung (gif e. V.).

Another focus of his work as a lawyer is commercial tenancy law. Mr. Patt draws up and negotiates complex commercial leases, rental and leasing agreements as well as other usage agreements and supports the multifaceted handling of these contracts. This also includes a broad range of litigation activities. He has particular expertise in the field of real estate project development. In addition, he regularly holds in-house training courses and lectures on commercial tenancy law topics.
